I can’t speak for anyone else on this, but when I use that tag - I really do feel like said whatever-graphic-thingy-thing is probably a little half-assed. This doesn’t stop me from posting it, of course, as the boredom/raging narcissism that fuels my brain has to be placated….

Exactly, and I always forget that just because it takes me about five minutes to do something - that doesn’t mean it’ll be the same for everyone else. So what I categorize as “half-assed” may be a real effort for someone and then I feel like the biggest asshole ever when I get comments like that. :|

Same here, dude. I normally just say something about how I have photoshop, which makes things stupidly easy once you’ve figured it out, and that I have no life, and have been making graphics like that for the better part of five or six years now. Experience + lack of anything else to do tends to not be an arsehole way to make up the difference. It’s tough though, either way.
